One Day in Charleston
Charleston, South Carolina · Personal study
A walking day in Charleston, moving between streets, porches and the waterline, following the light more than the map.
The city comes in layers. Shutters and balconies. Brick that has faded in different directions. Tight side streets that feel like corridors and then open suddenly into squares or quiet corners. Most of the day is spent on foot, letting small details set the pace, a gate left ajar, a row of windows catching late sun, the way paint softens on a south facing wall.
