Chicago, In Winter Light
Chicago, Illinois · Personal study
A winter day in Chicago, walked in layers, following the cold more than a plan.
The city feels sharper in this kind of weather. Air off the lake, corners that catch the wind, long streets that seem to stretch further than they do in summer. Buildings pull a little tighter together. Steam rises from grates and vents, trains pass overhead, and most of the life stays tucked just behind glass.
